Recognition of Our Online Interior Design Professional Diploma Course
Rhodec International Diploma Course students are eligible to apply for Student Membership of the BIID and, on successful completion of the Diploma Course, to apply for Junior Associate membership. After obtaining suitable experience, they may then apply for full Associate membership.
The ASID will accept Rhodec Diploma students into Student Membership.
Rhodec Diploma students are eligible to join the ASID as Student Members, and to advance to Allied Membership on graduation.
The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is the oldest and largest professional organization for interior designers with the largest residential and commercial membership. With more than 30,000 members, ASID establishes a common identity for professionals and businesses in the field of interior design.
Rhodec International meets the minimum qualification to house an ASID student chapter. ASID is not an accrediting body and makes no comparative evaluations or endorsements of interior design programs beyond the minimum standards for student chapter membership set out by the ASID Board of Directors.
Rhodec meets NCIDQ's education requirement of 60 semester credits, supported by an official transcript. Applicants are also required to complete a specified number of hours of professional experience prior to exam application.
Rhodec students are eligible to join the IIDA as Student Members, qualifying for entry to trade shows and enjoying discounts on products. Student Members become Associate Members when they graduate and must take the NCIDQ or equivalent exam to become full professional members of the IIDA.
Registration or licensing of interior designers varies in Canada. Please contact the interior design/architectural board in your own province for education and experience requirements.
